Steve Hall There's a great book out called "50 economic ideas you should know" or something like that. It's a small hardback. Each chapter covers one idea in about 5 pages, small pages with large print. The ideas are very clear and easy to understand. Christina K. I've heard a lot of people say that there aren't any psychology jobs you can qualify for with just a bachelors in psychology. Do you agree or disagree?Classhive April It was really interesting because we basically hung out with the girls and documented behaviors that came out of it. The best part was we traveled around the US to get a sampling of girls from all over the country.

Steve Hall I've worked in corporate America for 15 years and find that the only undergraduates that are necessary for a specific job are accounting, engineering and nursing. Some are needed for advanced degrees like biology for med school. But most jobs just want to see that you have the level of educatio… Read more »n and discipline needed to graduate college. I manage money and find that less than 20% of the people in the industry have degrees in economics or finance. Some of the best in the industry have completely unrelated degrees like psychology (they tend to be great at understanding the clients needs) or engineering (they can understand numbers and trends really well). To me that is encouraging because it seems to indicate that a sound foundation gives you the freedom to do whatever you want.11/06/2010
