Kirsten W. Hello From Michigan. This is my 2nd term at WGU. I love the school! I'm taking INT1 and 3 math courses. Love the science; hate the math.

Matt Campbell It seems that the number reflects the participation within Classhive. I assume that the higher the number, the more you participate.

Daphne O. Hello, I am just getting starting in this class. I am feeling a little lost when it comes to collecting literature review for the science project. I am thinking experimenting with the diameter of hose. What kind of literature review do I look for?Daphne Ohl Thank you. I'll check that out. My only task in taskstream was my science project. I asked my mentor about it yesterday and my 2 power point tasks were added. I am not working like mad to get those done. No wonder I'm lost. :)
Thank you for your ideas--I appreciate it.06/16/2010

Christina K. When I was a little kid, my grandpa had a little drop of mercury (he had a masters in botany but worked as a chemist) and once in a while he would let me play with it. I guess that was before they figured out that mercury makes you stupid.amy adams I've seen liquid mercury stored in a bottle filled with sand. It sort of floats on top of it looking spooky and potent.

Joy Wilcox Well according to my sister in law(director of 5 hospital labs) it will drive salaries down in alot of key positions making it a less diserable field to enter into, especially at the higher levels of education. Why study for 8 to14 years to make mediocre pay? Ideally you become a doctor to help peo… Read more »ple, but look at it realistically, would most doctors be on call for half the pay they are currently used to? In health care reform the government will set the fees paid for procedures and services to health care professionals.....

Christina K. So, question for discussion, are we experiencing more natural disasters than in the past and is so, why?Joy Wilcox Christina,
Did a Research paper recently on this, (got a 4.0 by the way) most studies I looked at show that they are on the rise, except for some stuff from the UN in Jan. 2010, but interestingly enough, that study was pulled and revised in March after some of there top advisors on the climate panel were found to be on the take of major oil/energy corporations. It all boils down to politics and greed.05/31/2010
Joy Wilcox The why is tricky, but according to most of my research, the increase is due to a combination of what man is doing to our planet and natural progressions of events set in motion by continued global warming coupled with natural phenomenone. Check out what you can do to help at EPA web site epa.org.c… Read more »om05/31/2010
Mary Barrett If you believe in the Bible, it has nothing to do with global warming and climate change. God is causing all these catastrophies because we are getting closer to Him coming again. Read the book of revelations. It will enlighten you.06/02/2010
