Christina Kirk I feel bad for the farmers who's crops are unintentionally contaminated with GMO seeds

Jack Seal VERY smart of the Haitians... Have you seen what Monsanto has done here in the USA to organic farmers? Farmers here have to PROVE that they do not have any Monsanto GMO seeds, even a small fraction. The "seeders" (people who take a specific portion of your harvest and extract seeds from iRead more »t.) have all but been put out of buisness through Patent Infringement Lawsuits.
Rally, revolt, protest! Keep GMOs out any way you can... once they are in, you are done. IMHO.

Classhive April Having watched Food Inc, I have really negative feelings about Monsanto and how they are basically suing farmers without any proof that they have Monsanto seeds. Everything you said Jack is exactly what frustrates me. Someone needs to say that due to nature, there is no way to keep seeds patented beRead more »cause the traits get spread through pollination!

Christina Kirk I HATE speaking in public unless I feel REALLY confident about the topic, and there aren't many topics that I do.

amy adams I hate public speaking, too! But, I found if you just try to 'keep it real' it's easier (rather than trying to memorize or perform stuff).

Classhive April Gotta teach them early! Children have a much easier time learning new languages due to brain develpment. Wish I had learned another language before my brain decided it was too much work! :)

Christina K. I've noticed that most of the male flight attendants on most of the flights I've taken recently are more effeminate. Why do airlines prefer to hire effeminate flight attendants?

    05/26/2010 in Humanities

Classhive April I would bet it's not airline preference but the type of people attracted to the job.

Christina Kirk I thought of that, but it's a really popular job, I bet a lot of different types of people apply, but yea, maybe more women and gay or effeminate guys, than strait guys.
