    Christopher Ostrowski i'm a state licenced xray technician, and majoring in physics - it takes a very significant dose (about 150 REM) to even begin seeing signs of erythema (redness - SUNBURN - radiation burn). Xrays give the patient somewhere closer to 20 millirem (standard chest xray dose to lung).
